The archetypal hero has come to dominate our collective imaginations, from Ayn Rand to contemporary superhero films. Boys and young men are raised with this predominant view of the masculine role to the extent that other masculine archetypes are eclipsed, ignored, or forgotten.

In this workshop, we hold space for the hurt caused by this one-dimensional view of the masculine and explore a deeper, richer understanding of what the masculine archetypes have to offer.
