Let’s face it.

Life is going fast these days, and it shows no evidence of slowing down. Living at this frenetic pace isn’t just stressful. It can cause inflammation, inhibit immunity, and make us feel like we’re always trying to catch up.

 

We don’t have to live this way.

 

With simple, deeply human strategies based in the natural wisdom we all have inside of us, we can step out of the cultural current and do things differently.

We can live our lives deliberately, with intention, and best of all, we can savor every second of it.

Through implementing these simple habits, I’ve learned how to create space for what truly nourishes me. This space is the birthplace of creativity, inspiration, and enraptured living.

The Structure

Through four 10 week sessions that span the entire year, we will come together to explore, connect, and discover.

Weekly Group Calls

Each week, we’ll come together as a group for one hour to connect, set intention, and ground. This is a chance to share ourselves and meet one another as we walk this journey together. We’ll talk health, habits, dreams, fears, and support each other as we go.

Exclusive Course Hub

The course hub is our home base, with a content library of downloadable worksheets, assessments, and recipes to guide you on your journey. It also contains a video library of meditation and yoga practices that you can use to supplement live sessions.

Private Community

The online community is a private Facebook group where you can connect with your sisters in between calls. Ask questions, trade resources, schedule lunch dates, and share stories. This is your space to give and receive support, connection, and friendship.

Monthly Coaching

Monthly coaching gyms are powerful, to the point one on one calls to target specific areas where you want to make quantum leaps. Whether you’re stuck or you want to apply laser-sharp focus to a specific area, this is your opportunity to do just that.

Monthly Meditations

Our monthly meditations are a live group session to ground and connect to our why. They include practices for letting go, committing deeply, connecting to one another, and simply being with ourselves with full self-acceptance.

Monthly Yoga Classes

In these gentle, all-level classes, we connect deeply to the energy of being alive. We celebrate our bodies with slow, simple movements to increase sensitivity and awareness. This feminine form of yoga wakes up our senses without straining the body, helping us find ease and stability.

Invitation to Create

Each month, you’ll be challenged to find an area of your life to infuse with creativity. Whether it’s designing and planting a garden, taking that art class you’ve always wanted to try, or reorganizing your kitchen to make an inspiring cooking space, we’ll support you in what you want to create.

Quarterly Guests

Each month, you’ll have the opportunity to join live sessions with guest speakers who bring something unique to the Simple Wild Free journey. These range from naturopathic doctors, mental health professionals, and creativity advocates to herbalists, somatic healers, and more

The Simple Wild Free community is made up of self-seekers.

We know that healing happens best in groups, and that when women come together to heal and grow, powerful things happen.

We are here to lick the marrow from life, to live passionately, creatively, and freely.

We know that a strong foundations make for beautiful creations.

We exercise radical candor and radical compassion. We practice deep listening. We hear you and see you. We hold space for who you are now and who you want to become.

About Simple Wild Free

Simple Wild Free is my offering to help others live in balance and harmony with themselves.

Life is rich when it’s simple. Our hearts are full when we let ourselves be wild. When we’re in harmony with our health, our values, and our environment, we’re free.

The ten habits I share in my course are the same habits I use in my own life.

They have been a cornerstone for me to come into myself with joy and vitality, and they can be for you, too.

For me, Simple Wild Free is a way of life.

It started when I was a little girl when I experienced a sense of suspended time and complete immersion whenever I engaged in creative play.

It was during these periods that I felt no separation between myself, my playmates, my environment, and my creative landscape.

I’ve found I am not alone in this. Nearly everyone reports experiencing something similar in their lifetime: a sense of complete presence in their play, in which past and future cease—however briefly—to exist.

It is this “state of play” that is home to the most authentic versions of ourselves, free of labels, roles, judgments, and the binary value assignments of good or bad.

It is in this unselfconscious state that we experience real freedom: freedom from the conceptual designations of the mind.

Simple Wild Free is the culmination of my commitment to live this freedom in my day-to-day life, and to ultimately help others experience the freedom of complete immersion in the simple bliss of being alive.

This is our birthright as human beings.

Through learning simple habits for a healthy body, mind, and spirit, I help others follow their own path of self-discovery that leads them back to their most playful, grounded, and creative selves.

My Story

I had an interest in perennial wisdom traditions as long as I can remember, and always felt at home with the mystical and esoteric.

At fourteen, I attended my first yoga class. Immediately drawn to this beautiful science of self-realization, I continued to practice and underwent a rigorous 10-month yoga, dharma, and Ayurveda training at seventeen.

I have since taught at private studios, retreats, gyms, corporate settings, hospitals, and one-on-one in Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Thailand.

At 19, began graduate studies in philosophy with the goal of becoming a university professor. I was ambitious, over-achieving, and in control–or so I thought. 

At the same time, I was frustrated that despite my yogic training, I was experiencing debilitating anxiety and depression. Life felt like a constant struggle, and I couldn’t understand why. As the years went on, the anxiety worsened. 

When my son was born, I let go of academia and began deepening my knowledge of Ayurveda. I started to learn the basics of how to ground myself and create a sense of stability, cohesion, and integrity in my body, mind, and spirit. 

After a move to Bangkok, I became a preschool teacher and rediscovered my love for play and the deep presence that comes from it. It was the perfect antidote to my former control-freak, intellectual self. 

Eventually, I was able to meet myself with the same compassion I developed for the children I taught. I began to let go—slowly and painfully—of my fearful need for control.

The children were constantly coaxing me out of my own conceptual framework, challenging me to show up and be present with them in their messy, wild, uncontrollable world.

This reintroduced play into my life in a big and lasting way.

I started to realize that my anxious need to be in control kept me from experiencing my life fully. Through working with several incredible teachers, I’ve come to understand that anxious energy is simply creative energy being repressed. 

I discovered that when I let go of the ‘shoulds’ and ‘shouldn’ts’ of life and combine gentle, compassionate discipline with my wild, creative nature, I’m an unstoppable force.

So are you.

It’s a lifelong journey to live out my love of embodied creativity, passionate presence, and the pursuit of living life in a constant state of play. 

I hope you’ll join me in the shared experience of enraptured living, reverent irreverence, and remembering the joy in the simplicity of being human.
